I am in contract buying a short sale in Chicago.? I have signed two, notarized addendum that proves am not related to the buyer.? I signed the contract August 14, 2012.? Last update I got was November 14th.? I am concern that my contract is no longer in force.? I have learned a lot about short sale process and it's complex transaction but wonder how GMAC Mortgage will take to release the approval letter.? I already lost my first mortgage and lost the fees.? I would like to hold on but am getting very impatient right now.? It is almost 5 mos now and dont know long to wait.? I need some opinion from expert who was in my position and manage to close the transaction.?
