Our client is an independent TMC specialising in the ?Not-for-Profit? sector. They are currently looking to recruit a highly experienced Account Manager to cover their London and South East region. As Sales Manager you will identify, attract and secure new business within the ?Not for Profit? sector as well as manage and grow existing business. The successful candidate will have outstanding New Business and B2B sales and account management experience. You must also be able to demonstrate the achievement of sales objectives through successful tender negotiations. Candidates must live within the sales area (London across to East Coast of Kent) and within an easy commute of London, due to the location of many of the accounts, plus one day per week will be office-based.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF ACCOUNT MANAGER
Identify, target and approach new business opportunities and clients within your designated sales area. This will involve cold calling, generating leads, database search and client networking.
Account manage existing clients and business.
Prepare and present tender proposals, negotiate and secure contracts.
Conduct client presentations and product training and attend exhibitions and networking events.
Monitor travel industry changes and competitor activity
REQUIREMENTS OF ACCOUNT MANAGER
Proven New Business and Account Management experience gained in a B2B environment.
Proven experience of successful delivery and negotiation of tender proposals.
Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
Exceptionally sales driven with a highly consultative approach.
Ability to achieve short term targets whilst building longer-term strategic objectives.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Our client is offering a competitive package including a basic salary of up to ?35k per annum (pending experience plus an uncapped bonus (estimated OTE ?50k), Company Car, Laptop and Mobile.
